Here is a great idea I wanted to share with you. This is an area in my Living room on the stairway wall that I have stacked two similar benches in different sizes and made a shelf out of them. Everyone always comments on it when they come to the house. It is a great space for placing architectural pieces, books, paintings, statues etc... especially if you are looking for a shelf or book case and can't find one. Maybe you have two benches sitting around that you aren't using that would be perfect. Enjoy your day!
What a delightfully charming idea Kathleen! And I've been looking at the photos of your front porch area and am entranced with it... I could happily spend quite a bit of time there. How lucky you are to have it - It's not a thing that seems to happen over here in England. Shame I think don't you?
