We woke up this morning to our first snowfall this Winter. Perfect timing since I had added some Christmas cheer to the porch of our potting shed over the weekend. The outside of this building is mostly done and I'm so happy with how it turned out. Now the weather needs to work it's charm on the boards so it becomes that wonderful gray color we all love:-)
Most of the snow had melted by the time I got out there to snap a few photos, but you can still see some in the background. Enjoy! xoxo K.
I really like how the wreath I got at Trader Joe's looks hanging from this old sled.
This cherub statue holding an urn was once a part of a fountain. It fits nicely by the door holding a small tree. Another tree fit perfectly into an old wattering can. I don't know why I love the quirky misshaped trees, but I do!
Enjoy your week and I'll be back toward the end of it with my home tour and linky party.

SNOW !!!!!!! My kingdom for snow!!!!! Just rain here.... : ( ....your decorations are perfect!!!! I love the sleigh.....I remember riding on them!!!
ReplyDeletei also love little misshaped trees. i never see them where christmas trees are being sold. i only see them around the nature walk/lake behind my house. being a dog walker while walking a dog on the outskirts of a forest preserve i see a lot of them.
ReplyDeletebut, cutting down one and taking it home for my pleasure is something i would never do.
when i see that baby i just know it will grow strong and beautiful and house many wild animals.
so, i just buy the little fake ones and dismantle them and repot them so they look real.
love your trees. where do you get yours from?
merry christmas

ReplyDeleteWhat a Great Porch to sit out upon! One of the Vendors at our Antique Mall was showing off a 1930's Era Sled she had for Sale... I could just envision it with a Wreath hanging from it in a Vignette such as this... even though we live in a Desert. *LOL*
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas from the Arizona Desert... Dawn... The Bohemian
